Battery storage systems are used to store energy that is not used immediately when it is generated. The abbreviation BESS stands for BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM.
Various operating models are available for BESS.
Our range of investment projects mostly – but not exclusively – arises in connection with RES projects. The background to this is that in many cases RES projects (usually wind farms or solar parks) can be realized in three different ways:
In Greece, the second option has the advantage that these projects pass through the approval process more quickly thanks to preferential treatment.
