Wind turbines are very effective and are characterized by low and easily calculable operating costs.
We distinguish between two types of wind turbines: onshore, i.e. turbines that are installed on land, and offshore, i.e. turbines that are installed at sea. The latter is more expensive in terms of installation costs, wear and tear and maintenance, but generally also has a significantly higher wind yield.
